KERANGKA - FLAT PACK FURNITURE SYSTEM
The brief of this project is to design a 'flat-pack' furniture system, with the intention of reducing freight, while still providing the convenience of assembly for the user. Kerangka is a result of an experimentation in form, adopting its form from the structure of human bones. The word 'KERANGKA' it self is derived from an indonesian word which means 'structure' or 'skeleton'. Kerangka is made of a 16 mm plywood and felt. It is done through CNC process.
